Side view of the brain drawn as a fine, see-through wireframe

Understand your emotions through brain science.

A journal for the inner world. Write how your day feels and see the brain science behind it.

How MindIn works

Three steps to understanding your feelings

  1. Write how your day feels.

A few words about a moment, in plain language. MindIn suggests the emotion underneath, and you can confirm it with a tap.

  2. See the brain science.

The brain regions linked to that emotion appear on a 3D brain, with a short explanation and sources.

  3. Notice patterns over time.

A gentle weekly history shows which feelings keep coming back.

Common questions

More detail on the Legal & Safety page, or get in touch at contactys@mindin.co.uk.

Who is it for?

MindIn is designed for people aged 18 and over who live in the UK, not for children or young people. Anyone under 18 who is struggling can call Childline free on 0800 1111.

Is it free?

Yes. MindIn is offered free of charge during the beta, try it out now!

Who can see my entries?

Only the account holder. Entries are stored securely, available across devices after signing in, and never sold or used for advertising. An AI service processes the text to suggest an emotion and to notice wording that may mean support is needed, so helpline details can be shown. Full details are on the Legal & Safety page.

Is MindIn a medical tool?

No. MindIn is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, assess, monitor, prevent or treat any physical or mental health condition. It is designed for general wellbeing and education, and it is not a crisis or emergency service.
